How to use a Demco EZ latch coupler

Using the Demco EZ latch trailer coupler is super simple, just lower your trailer onto your trucks ball hitch and it automatically locks into place, just lift the latch to remove. Just remember to lower the latch to prevent the spring from wearing out.

Step by Step instructions to hook up your trailer

Jack your trailer up so the trailers coupler is higher than your trucks hitch

Back your truck up so the ball is right underneath the trailers coupler

Lower the jack to where the coupler sits on top of the ball, with the Demco EZ latch coupler, it'll automatically lock

Lower the trailer enough to take all the weight off the trailer

Raise your jack leg, that way it won't catch going over bumps or into dips

Attach your chains to you truck criss-crossing them to make sure that if the coupler fails it the trailer will get caught in the chains and not drag

Hook up your lights and break away switch, check that everything is working and you are ready to roll!
